Important Notification – CSSC Privacy Notice

The following Privacy Information is being provided to you as outlined the the General Data Protection Regulation. It is intended to inform you of how the Personal Information will be used, by whom and for what purposes. If you are unclear on any aspect of this form, or want any further information, please contact the CSSC Committee secretary@chiseldonclub.org

Who is the data controller?

The Club (CSSC) are the Data Controllers of the Personal Data contained on the membership application form and contact details for CSSC are as follows: Chiseldon Sports and Social Club Ltd, 6 Draycott Road, Chiseldon, Swindon, SN4 0LS.

What is the purpose of processing my Personal Data?

The purpose for processing your Personal Data is that it is necessary for the performance of a contract in order to register and maintain your membership with CSSC and to keep you informed of events and meetings (AGM/EGMs etc). You will have the option to unsubscribe from second purpose after which you will only be informed of important club information e.g. AGM/EGM dates etc. For the safety of our members and the protection of the club and its property, we use CCTV in and around the club building. We will only hold your information in this way for as long as is necessary.

Will anyone else receive a copy of my Personal Data?

You Personal Data can be accessed by certain members of the Club Committee for administrative purposes. This will be done in accordance with our data protection policy only.
If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CSSC, our members/customer, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
In the event of an injury or insurance claim, details of your claim which will include you Personal Data may be passed to our insurer. Photograph or video image may be taken whilst attending or participating in activities connected with CSSC and used by CSSC for items like, match reports, event reports or on CSSC website and/or social media channels.

Where is your Personal Data stored?

Members data will be stored electronically on the CSSC Database and on suitable backup media securely stored on CSSC premises at 6 Draycott Road, Chiseldon, Swindon, SN4 0LS.
Guest data will be stored in the Guest signing in book.

How long will your Personal Data be stored for?

Members Personal Dats will be held for the duration of your Membership and it will be deleted by CSSC in the event that you resign your Membership, membership renewal lapses by a period of 12 months or you are expelled.
Guest data will be stored within the Guest signing in book for a period no greater than 12 months.
However, we may retain your Personal Data after your Membership ceases if we decide that it is strictly necessary to do so in the circumstances in accordance with our data retention policy.

How can I obtain a copy of the Personal Data held by the Club?

You have the right to request a copy of all your Personal Data and can do so by contacting us. This information will be provided to you within one month.

What are my privacy rights relating to my Personal Data?

You have the right to have your Personal Data updated, rectified, or deleted in certain circumstances. You have the right to object to your Personal Data being processed and to withdraw your consent to processing – You can do so by contacting us, in writing to the CSSC Committee (email dataprotection@chiseldonclub.org)
Withdrawing your consent will however result in CSSC being unable to continue the performance of a contract and therefore membership will be withdrawn with immediate effect.

Comments

Media

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What rights you have over your data

If you have have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
